Hi, my name’s Marc Reid and this is my blog where I share notes on data visualisation and in particular Tableau, including posts on new features, exploring functionality, design ideas, tips and other things along the way.

I’ve been using Tableau since early 2017 and am Desktop and Server certified (see below). I was a Tableau Public Ambassador from 2019 to 2021 and am a 5x Tableau Visionary (previously known as Tableau Zen Master) and now a member of the Tableau Visionary Hall of Fame.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering and an MSc in Business Intelligence. I’m an IBM Certified Data Analyst and Google Certified Advanced Data Analyst with over ten years of experience working in data analysis roles.
